FROM KIDS` DRAWINGS TO MURALS

We should cherish every drop of water. Everyday. We, people, make water dirty, and then cleanse it. How did kids reimagine this cycle through the means of art?

Inspired by the scale and the complexity of the facilities in a water treatment plant, as well as the very concept of purifying water and living in a clean environment, young people and children participated in a drawing competition organized by the Operational program "Environment 2014-2020" of the Ministry of Environment and Water at the end of 2022. The competition was called "COMPOSE A WASTEWATER PLANT" and the topic was "clean environment".

In 2023, as a continuation of the project, Operational program "Environment 2014-2020" selected Visionary to scale up 6 of the best children's drawings on 6 sites of treatment plants throughout the country.

Realization: October - December, 2023.

Locations: WasteWater Plants in Elhovo, Yambol, Pleven, Shumen, Golden Sands and Tervel

Visionary, for its part, assembled a team of artists to work on the project and turn children's drawings into murals - Atanas Levakov, KOTK, Jermain and JahOne. Very slight adaptations of the drawings were made by the artists in order to better scale the drawings and reflect the specifics of the walls.
